Night Runners

This was a pretty regular day by any means, in terms of the photowalk, that is. It was a very long time ago for me to remember the leading up to the walk but i remember the walk quite well. It was one of those days with not much motivation. Same walk, same lenses, same area, same old everything. Taken thousands of photos of that area, there’s nothing new really. That feeling of ‘im done taking photos of this place’ was the very reason i figured i should stay, and i did. I mean, i had nothing else to do. Later, after being walking around chilling, taking photos just out of inertia, the sunset exploded. Every sunset is its own, and even tho it was nothing magical or unique, its fun to shoot regardless of the outcome. So that was it, bout 1.5hrs of walking around the area shooting the beach and the sunset till it got darker than my hand and ISO could handle. Then i noticed a bunch of runners wearing lamps and glowsticks, figured it was an organized thing and more would come, so left the camera on a bench and started took a couple, the second or third shot when saw the guys running across the whole photo I packed and left. This photo was a pair of runners wearing headlamps and reflective gear on their shorts. The camera was Fuji XT-2
