Sunset Joyride

Sunset Joyride

This video came out of one of those evenings where everything just worked. I’d recently picked up a Boosted Board and had been riding it around the seawall in Vancouver—commuting to work, taking the long way home, and going on the occasional sunset joyride.

One evening, I strapped on a few cameras:

  • A Fujifilm X-T2 in my hand
  • A GoPro rigged onto the board
  • My phone on a selfie stick
I turned them all on and started riding—doing a few laps until the battery gave out.

Later, I found a quiet spot to sit, chilled out with the phone still recording, and got lucky: the sunset absolutely lit up the sky, and the seawall was buzzing with life. It was one of those moments where nature, city, and motion all blended together.

The final video is a collage of those clips, cut to a royalty-free track that’s nothing fancy—just a smooth background to the ride. No message, no deeper point. Just some pretty visuals from a golden evening on wheels.
